LOOK FOR THE VALLEY — Last spring after a hectic competition season, Enni Rukäjarvi decided to swap the park board for a splitboard and set her sights on the legendary Tamok Valley. Heading across the border from Northern Finland into Norway, she spent a month navigating variable conditions ranging from sunshine to rain to waist-deep powder. Finding the best terrain during a deadly avalanche season was tricky, but when everything came together, Enni's uphill efforts sure paid off.
