This Halloween we are blessed with an abundance of tricks that are a treat to watch. Releasing their fourth full-length project, The dust box’s Fall in Place sets the bar high for any future street project to compete. A delightfully diverse soundtrack mixed in with captivating b-roll, the movie has a certain ebb and flow that is absolutely mandatory in any non-part based project. We’d go as far as to say this is another step forward in the potency of dust box videos. A resounding answer to the question I’m not sure anyone was even asking– “Can they do it again?”
Mixed in with a healthy amount of cameos from street snowboarding’s highest regards, each member of the crew brings some heat to this piece. Cooper Whittier has some savage switch tricks, Robby Meehan and Cody Warble’s rail transfer game impeccable, Dan McGonnagle keeps his foot on the gas throughout, Jonas Harris spot selection and kit choice are the kind of thing that make footage memorable. Reid Smith muscles his way through tight technical areas, Noah Brown puts his mark on the movie, Brett Kulas, Benny Milam, Ryan Collins and Rob Roethler all make their presence known throughout, as does filmer Nate Hanson.
If you can’t get enough dust box – make sure to pick up a copy of SLUSH 2.1 with Noah Peterson on the cover at your local shop to see the full dust box feature, complete with thirteen pages of action photography by Bob Plumb.
