WHISTLER, BC – January 17 2022: National Geographic adventure photographer Erin Hogue has released the latest episode in film series Photo Adventures in partnership with Sony and Robin Van Gyn’s Fabric.

Photo Adventures, Episode One: Snowed In is an exclusive behind the scenes look at how pro photographer Erin Hogue, captures her breathtaking photographs. Following an expedition for five days of winter camping in one of British Columbia’s most scenic mountain ranges. We watch as Hogue goes behind the scenes of Robin Van Gyn’s iconic project Fabric. Hogue shows what it takes to get award-winning action photographs of a collection of the world’s top backcountry snowboarders. Viewers get a raw and real look of both the highs and lows of what goes into this type of photography.
This is a five-part video series that pushes the boundaries of documenting female action sports in order to inspire viewers to go beyond their own limits to capture mind-blowing imagery. Focusing on the importance of female mentorship, diversity, environmentalism and purposeful adventure storytelling. The series gives a first-person perspective of the obstacles that must be overcome as well as an inside look into Hogue’s creative process.
National Geographic photographer Erin Hogue is an X-Games Gold Medalist for Action Sports Photography, a Sony Alpha Female and an Oprah Insider. She’s also one of a small number of female photographers in the action sports industry. Her unique perspective creates captivating photos that have gained worldwide recognition. Inspired by the challenge of shooting in these highly charged environments, Erin envisions and creates images that push the limits of creativity.
