On Friday August 19th 2022, Reid Smith battled Sam Taxwood in the head to head elimination of the first round of the 2022 Game Of Big SNOW presented by Dakine at Big Snow American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ. Sam found himself on defense for much of the matchup as Reid set tricks like a backside 180 to switch 50-50 on the down-flat-down and a half-cab to tail press on the down bar. Reid advances to face Zak Hale in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Game Of Big SNOW presented by Dakine.
