The High Cascade Photo Workshop held its annual week on the slopes of Mt Hood, Oregon the last week of June under perfect conditions. The bountiful winter the western US experienced this past winter left the summer slopes with more than enough snow to surround the complement of features that the class had access to photographs. In addition to Capita team riders Scott Stevens, Miles Falcon, Joey Fava, and Benny Milam there was no shortage of talent to present to practice the skills attendees of the workshop learn in morning classroom sessions. The progress made by all photographers was measurable just a few days in. When we took a break from the snow to execute some lighting techniques on the High Cascade mountain bike course, everyone was ready to take on the most challenging part of the workshop program. Both on and off the snow this group produced photos that not only inspired but brought a level of stoke to all in front of the lens that week. Below is some of the best work the group of aspiring photographers captured. - Andy Wright
