We pulled up to the first stop of the CORENATION Tour earlier this winter at Big Bear. CoreNation is an event tour organized by Core Snowboarding founder / pro boarder Erik Leon. It's a series of jam sessions where the main idea at each "contest" is to promote a community-based riding vibe while also raising money for various non-profit snowboarding organizations. Prizes are given out to the riders who bring the best energy instead of the hardest tricks (but almost everyone gets a prize either way).

The Bear Mountain stop raised nearly $2000 for The Share Winter Foundation, via raffle tickets and entry fees. Bear Mountain and The North Face both matched that number!The next stop is at Ruby Hill in Denver, CO on Feb 25th, pull up if you are in the area!
