Arbor had some heavy pickups last year: Jared Elston, Danny Kass, and Red Gerard all joined the team. The hype was real, and that excitement carried through the winter. Now, as new lines are dropping, we get to find out if that excitement has stayed. The team is great, we know that, but how are the boards?

It wouldn’t be a conversation about Arbor without mentioning Jared and his signature “El Camino” board. You probably saw the video, a short offering of pure backcountry gold that landed Jared on the cover of this very publication. But the board itself, well, it has just as much staying power. Built on the stiffer end of the spectrum with a parabolic camber design and a slightly directional shape, this thing is the hard-charging backcountry machine you’ve been waiting for. We don’t know enough about cars over here to make some El Camino muscle car (if it is one?) comparison. All we know is, after watching Jared rip this thing around, we’re convinced.

And for the women, check out the all-new “Sin Cara” for anything from groomers to deep days in the backcountry. Like the “El Camino,” this board is slightly directional with a parabolic camber design. Although not as stiff as the “El Camino,” this thing still can hold steady through whatever terrain it needs to charge through.
