The goal was an all-mountain board that could handle the way Blake actually snowboards:
- Float in powder
- Pop for freestyle riding
- Responsive without being overly demanding
- Stable on hardpack and bigger landings
- Maneuverable through variable terrain
- Enough support in the nose and tail to keep him from going over the bars or washing out
