2021 Slush Awards—Women's Rider of the Year Nominees

  |   Michael Goodwin

The 2021 Slush Awards are presented by 10 Barrel, Ikon Pass, GoPro, and Liquid Death.

Jamie Anderson

Jamie Anderson has the uncanny ability to keep adding to her impressive canon of contest wins. Despite the 2020 contest season getting cut short by Covid, Jamie still took top honors in slopestyle at the X Games, Mammoth Grand Prix and US Open. In fact, of all the contests Jamie has competed in over the last 14 months, the X Games Norway is the only slopestyle she didn’t win.

Jill Perkins

In 2017 Jill Perkins was awarded the Transworld Womens Rookie Of The Year honors and now, less than 4 years later she is nominated for her second Women’s Rider Of The Year Award, albeit her first for Slush. This acknowledgement from her peers proves that Jill is the real deal and more than merely a rail rider or on-screen persona, but rather a role model for both her pro constituents as well as the public at large.

Kennedi Deck

Kennedi’s cavalcade of clips in Vans Evergreen., is likely among the heaviest shots of a female rider ever captured on film. Seriously. While readers may rightfully point to what her fellow nominees are accomplishing and the achievements of those who came before her, and say that the previous statement is subjective, Kennedi is doing it for the celluloid. Therefore we stand by our assertion and we aren’t alone, as proven by the pros who voted for her 2021 Women’s Rider Of The Year nomination.
