The Most Valuable Video Player award is an update to the classic Video Part category, and is a reflection of those riders whose on screen performances, be it in a three minute section, as the protagonist of a 30 minute biopic, or even as a key contributor to an ensemble, warrant elevated recognition.
The MVVP is a very modern designation, a category born of necessity to recognize extraordinary filming efforts that are no longer always encapsulated in a traditional video part. And though it’s a new designation, Cole Navin nabbed this year’s honors in a very classic fashion, quietly assembling a hard-charging, head-spinning segment alongside a tight-knit crew. Well played, Cole!
